This is a public diary primarily about my holidays and days out but with a sprinkling of other stuff. I’ve been doing it for years ever since I retired in 2018. My previous Blog can be found here and has a far better explanation of why. The truth is there’s no reason for it. I just do it because it gives me a sense of satisfaction and I enjoy the writing process. While I’m no Samual Pepys (although neither was he when he was alive) I can string a few words together in an amusing way. I’m a fairly Average diarist you might say.

I apologise for my grammar and spelling which are terrible even with the help modern technology. I do actually have an English Language ‘O’ Level (a very old qualification) but as Miss Dewy, my English teacher, wrote in my report;

“I think Mark was as surprised at his result as I was”.

That’s probably a good introduction in to the next bit…

I have no idea what to write here because I’m not trying to sell anything, least of all myself. Read my posts. That’ll probably tell you all you need to know both good and bad.
